Six Layer Dinner
Ingredients:
Sliced raw potatoes
Sliced carrots
1/3 C rice
Chopped green pepper
1 1/4 lbs ground beef
2 teas salt
sliced onions
1 teas sugar
1 qt canned tomatoes or juice
Directions:
Place a 1 in layer of sliced potatoes in butter deep baking dish. Sprinkle rice or potatoes. Cover with ground beef. Add layer of onions, carrots and green pepper. Combinan tomatoes, salt and sugar; pour over vegetables in dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 2 1/2 - 3 hours.
