Parmesan and Olive Damper


Ingredients:
3 cups of self raising flour
50g butter
½ cup of freshly grated parmesan cheese ¼ cup of sliced pitted black olives
1 ¼ cups of milk
2 tbs of sesame seeds to sprinkle on top

Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 180 degrees C
Lightly flour base of camp oven or oven tray to prevent damper dough from sticking
Sift the flour then rub in the butter gently. Stir in the parmesan cheese and olives

Make a well into the centre of the mixture and pour in the milk. Mix into a soft, sticky dough

Place the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently into a round shape
Brush with milk and gently sprinkle with the sesame seeds
Bake for approximately 45 minutes or until the damper is golden, firm and sounds hollow when tapped. Cool on a wire rack.
