Caramel Toffee Crunch Cheesecake



Ingredients:
1 package German Chocolate cake mix
Ingredients called for on cake mix (eggs, oil, water, etc)
1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
1 jar caramel ice cream topping
1 (8 oz) container frozen whipped topping, thawed (Cool Whip)
4-6 Heath candy bars, crushed (I have also seen Heath bits over on the baking aisle by the chocolate chips- those would work perfectly too)

Directions:
Prepare and bake cake in a 9x13" baking pan as directed on back of cake mix. Let cake cool. Using a fork, poke holes all over the top of the cake. Mix together the sweetened condensed milk and caramel topping and pour all over the cake, letting it sink down into the holes. Spread whipped topping over the caramel layer and sprinkle with crushed Heath bars.
I keep this cake in the fridge- it's delicious cold!

Chocolate Cream Cups



Ingredients:
2 packages pistachio pudding mix.
milk.
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate morsels.
12 shortcake cups.
12 strawberries,capped and cut in half.
whipped cream.


Method:
The first step in this recipe is preparing your shortcake cups. Melt the chocolate in your double boiler. Dip each shortcake cup into the chocolate to coat the top 2/3 of each cup with chocolate.

Place each cake cup on a saucer for individual service. 
Place the cake cups in the fridge until completely cooled.

Mix the pudding and fold in 2 cups whipped cream. Pipe the pudding mix into each cake cup and chill at least 1 hour prior to service. Garnish with whipped topping and strawberry halves. Easy, delicious and fun, dessert the way it should be.

Grilled Banana Split



Ingredients:
6 large bananas, unpeeled
2 cups chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups miniature marshmallows
6 scoops ice cream (works best with chocolate or vanilla)
Strawberry syrup


Directions:
Slice the banana peel from stem to bottom, slicing the fruit inside lengthwise. Place bananas in a large sheet of heavy duty aluminum foil, enough to wrap bananas. Carefully open each banana peel and distribute chocolate chips and marshmallows into six. Wrap bananas in aluminum foil and cook on a pre-heated grill over high heat for 5-6 minutes. When chocolate chips and marshmallows have melted, unwrap bananas and place each in a serving plate. Open the peels wide, drizzle with strawberry syrup and serve with a scoop of ice cream.

How to Cook Creamy Mashed Potatoes in 15 Minutes



Ingredients:

2 medium sized potatoes 
2 teaspoons of salt 
1/2 cup of fresh milk 
1 1/2 tablespoon of butter (unsalted) 
water

Preparation:

Peel and chop potatoes into small cubes 
Boil cubed potatoes with a pinch of salt for 15 min 
Drain the water and place potatoes in a bowl 
Mash the potatoes using spoon and fork 
Melt the butter and mix it with the potatoes, also add desired amount of salt 
While mixing, add milk gradually 
Continue mixing until all ingredients are distributed 
Serve with gravy if desired



Chocolate Pound Cake



Ingredients:
1/2 cup shortening
1 cup butter, softened
3 cups white sugar
5 egg yolks
5 egg whites
3 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 1/4 cups milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon almond extract


Preparation:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 10-inch tube pan.
In a bowl, cream together the shortening and butter until light and fluffy. Gradually adding in sugar. Beat well with an electric mixer on medium speed. Add egg yolks, one at a time, beating after each addition.

In another bowl, sift flour, baking powder, salt, cocoa and cinnamon together. Add flour mixture to creamed mixture, alternately with milk, begin and end with flour mixture. Mix just until blended after each addition. Stir in vanilla and almond extracts.

In a clean bowl, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Fold carefully into cake batter, mixing only until no streaks remain. Pour batter into prepared tube pan.

Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan for 10 minutes, remove from pan, and let cool completely on a wire rack. pour chocolate up the cake.

Christmas Fruitcake Recipe



Ingredients:
1 lb. Raisins
4 oz. Cherries
½ lb. Chopped prunes
2 oz. Cranberries
32 oz. Dark Jamaican rum
4 oz. Citrus peels
grated rind of 1 lime
6 oz. or 1.5 cup flour
8 oz. butter
8 oz. sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. allspice
½ tsp. Ground cloves
½ tsp. salt
1 cup wine/brandy
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. browning


Instructions:
Soak fruits, peels and rind in rum for two weeks before baking. In a separate bowl whip butter, sugar and browning until creamy. Combine dry ingredients in separate bowl and mix well. In a third bowl beat eggs and brandy together until well blended.

Add egg mixture to creamed butter mixture and blend well. Strain and add fruits, keeping rum for fruity drinks. Gradually mix dry ingredients to batter and fold together.

Pour batter into a lightly buttered 9" cake pan and bake at 350F for 1-½ hours checking after 1 hour. Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.

Chocolate Brownie Cake



Ingredients:
4 eggs
100 gm white butter
125 gm granulated sugar
150 gm white flour
2 tsp baking powder
2 tbsp coco powder
½ tsp coffee essence
½ cup fresh cream
100 gm dark chocolate

Directions:
Melt butter with sugar in a glass bowl and beat it at low speed with the help of an electric beater. Once both these ingredients are mixed well, you will have to add eggs one by one. Keep beating the mixture, till it gets completely smooth and is blended well. Now in another bowl, swift flour, baking powder and coco powder and start mixing this dry ingredients with the liquid better that you have prepared in another bowl. Once you have added the dry ingredients, you are not supposed to use electric beater as it is the requirement of all chocolate cake recipes. With the help of a rubber spatula, fold the dry ingredients. 


Make sure that you have laid the parchment paper in the mould and grease it with the help of butter. Once you have greased the pan properly then pour the better in the mould. Put the mould in a preheated oven and bake it at 180 degrees centigrade. Bake it for 25-30 minutes.

Once you have taken the cake out of your oven then place it on the shelf of your kitchen. Melt dark chocolate pieces in a double boiler. Once the chocolate melts, then add cream in it. Mix the cream in melted chocolate properly and pour this mixture on your cake.
