Clean Cuban Churros Recipe


ingredients:
3/4 cup + 2Tbsp Oat flour
2Tbsp Vanilla Protein Drink mix
3Tbsp coconut oil
1 cup water with 1/8tsp salt
mixture of stevia & cinnamon

Method:
Sift flour & PDM together in a mixing bowl while water & salt comes to a boil
Pour boiling water over flour, stirring lightly until dough forms into a ball (about 30sec) dough should not be too soft or runny
Using a freezer baggie, spoon mixture in & cut off the corner tip
Squeeze dough into 6inch strips onto waxed paper making about 12 churros
Heat oil till hot
Place churros in hot oil, turning once you see the edges browning. Flip doing the same for the other side. Fry for about 4-5min all together
Remove from pan, removing as much oil from the churros as possible
In a small bowl mix stevia & cinnamon together then sprinkle over churros.
